The co-financing agreement signed

On January 31st, the “Functional Area Partnership for the development and socio- economic cohesion of Leszno Agglomeration " project co-financing agreement between Town of Leszno and Ministry of Infrastructure and Development was signed.

Project will be run by the City of Leszno in partnership with the following municipalities: Krzemieniewo, Lipno, Osieczna, Rydzyna, Święciechowa, Wijewo, Włoszakowice, Leszno district and Przemęt Community from Wolsztyn district, and economic and social partners: Higher County Vacational School in Leszno, Leszno Business Center Ltd., Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Tourist Organisation Leszno Region.

The aim of the cooperation is to improve the economic situation in the Leszno Agglomeration by ensuring the ability of the partnership to implement integrated projects related to the economic growth of the area.

The term of the project: 01/2014r. – 10/2016r.

The total cost of the project: 2 654 120,00 zł

Percent of funding: 85%

The project is implemented under funding the EOG, originating in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and national measures under the program "Development of cities by strengthening the competence of local government units, social dialogue and cooperation with the representatives of civil society”.
